Program alterations: The tour you have chosen is, in part, in remote areas. Destination Suriname is still considered unspoiled and adventurous, which sometimes goes along with a certain physical exertion. This makes the tour more adventurous and gives you the opportunity to enjoy a true nature experience.

• It is possible that sometimes programmes need to be changed or even cancelled due to several conditions beyond our control. Road conditions, the nature of the terrain, weather and other elements, can be the reason to alter some elements of the tour. In case of circumstances beyond control of the touroperator, Access Suriname Travel has the right to alter the touring sequence in order to have all trips in the same destination area or else. Possible advance notice will be given for changes, although at times changes may be made while the tour is in progress. Programmes changes due to 'force majeur' can be charged a handling fee.
• When travellers request to change the sequence and dates of the tour program, AST will do everything to meet their request. In case it can not be done, the absence of the guest will be considered as no-show.

Wildlife sightings: With any tour involving wildlife there is no guarantee for sighting, although each trip is designed around known habitats. The guides will do their utmost to ensure a sighting, but cannot be held responsible if there is no success, because of weather circumstances, the wildlife itself or any other element beyond our control.

Inconveniences: You are choosing for Suriname which is an adventurous destination with the benefit of unspoiled charms and the inconveniences that goes along with it. Every complaint will be handled thoroughly, however inconveniences as the result of bad weather conditions, bad infrastructure, the quality of remote accommodations and weak physical health of guests, will not be taken into consideration.
Inconveniences in the field and during tours must be brought to the attention of the tour leader and guide immediately, on location, so it can be cleared out and improved immediately.

Claims: In no way AST, as destination management company and intermediary between you and the executing companies can be held responsible for physical, material or any other damage caused during tours, in case of dispute we will rely on the Surinamese law.
