bigi pan

Bigi Pan is situated in the 'Bigi Pan Multiple Use Management Area' in the northwestern part of Suriname's estuarine zone, north of Nickerie
Bigi Pan is the biggest lagoon of Suriname.

This tour is not a tour on it's own, but is included in the multiple day Nickerie tour.
Bigi Pan is connected with the Nickerie River through the Jamaer canal. This area is known for its high diversity of birds, which come from the high north to winter due to its abundance of food.
