Less then a three quarters drive away from Paramaribo you will find White Beach Resort. Here you have a beautiful river beach with nice accommodations and restaurants. The swim water is clean and as an extra security nets have been placed to demarcate the swimming area in the river.

There are two different tours to White beach.

Whitebeach bus tour € 45,-
Artisan tour € 62,-

The bus tour brings you directly to White beach where you stay the whole day, while you enjoy the beach, the water and the sun.
The artisan tour first brings you to the butterfly farm. After that you go to the maroon woodcarvers and amer-indian potters were you can see them at work and buy their products. After that you go to White beach.
