The Wonotobo area

The Wonotobo area is inhabited by Trio amerindians. The other inhabitants are deer, pingo and pakira (wild boar). Many fish species like anyumara, red tale catfish and peacock bass do occur here.

The Amerindian village that is situated at the waterfalls blends in wonderfully with these beautiful waterfalls due to the use of natural building material. These people who depend on hunting and fishing belong to the Trio tribe. A visit to there village is a real experience
